Imperial Garden

Imperial Garden

The majority of the country's gardens are temple gardens designed for meditation.  The Imperial Palace East gardens is home to the ruins of Edo Castle.

Shibuya Scramble

Shibuya Crossing

Shibuya is the Tokyo most visitors are expecting: bright lights and big city. It's a major entertainment, dining and shopping district.  Best known for the crossing which is the busiest crossing in the world - a bit quiet when I was there!

Yet another shopping centre..

The mouth of the Tokyu Plaza features hundreds of geometrically assorted mirror shards which may make you a bit cross-eyed as you ascend the escalator

Shinjuku

Shinjunku is one of the must visit areas in Tokyo, known for the best entertainment districts in the city.

The district offers lavish nightlife decorated with flashy neon lights and it's considered as the biggest red light district in Tokyo

Arguably, the crazyest restaurant in the world! Robot Restaurant is a 10 Billion Yen worth restaurant located in the heart of Shinjunku red light district, offering an eccentric entertainment show with robots and dancers with neon lights and music.  It's held 3 or 4 times a day and is extremely popular.... too expensive for me though.
